As a Singapore-based artist, I have spent the past decade working in the fashion and beauty industries. Since 1998, I have also been writing poems, capturing my inspirations and thoughts on paper. My creative spirit has been the guiding light in my life, driving me to pursue my passions and explore the depths of my creative potential. With a loving husband and two beautiful children, I strive to create art that is meaningful, inspiring, and beautiful.
A love letter penned with passion untold
Marked with black, a love so true,
A message of love I sent to you.
With each stroke, my heart poured out,
All the love and care, without a doubt.
But you tore it up and went away.
Leaving my heart in disarray.
I asked for your return, and in the end,
Hoping for our love, you would comprehend.
Yet you left, and with you, my heart,
Torn apart, it fell apart.
"Completely yours", I wrote with pride,
My name below, just by your side.
But now that it's gone, our love is in vain.
Only my memories and my heart remain.
Oh, how I long to hold you near,
To tell you all the words I fear
But now that it's too late and the ink has dried,
And with it, all our love has died.

In silence, my spirit came to thee, and touched thee softly while you did sleep.
She kissed thee, love's last ecstasy, and watched thee slumber long and deep.
Upon thy chest, she did repose, and held thee close in a warm embrace.
Her final hug, ere life she chose. In thy sweet arms, her resting place.
Her last words, "I love thee, Goodbye, my love,"
She whispered low, with tender touch, thy hand she drew,
And kissed it with love's gentle flow.
Her tears flowed down, a mournful rain. As she wept for what could never be,
And with a flash, she did remain. Lost to thee, in eternity.
When thou didst wake, thou knewst well, that she had passed from life's embrace.
But with her love, she did foretell, her love for thee, with lasting grace.
Thou didst then know, her love so pure.
And how she loved thee true and strong, But alas, 'twas too late, to be sure.
For thy love's journey had passed along.
Thou art the angel, whom God sent to me,
The happiest thing that ever could be
From heaven above, I could not reach,
Yet thou sayest nothing was out of my reach.
In love, I was hopeless and lost.
With naught to love or count the cost.
Tears, pain, and wounds didst fill my heart,
Until the day thou camest to impart.
A healing touch to soothe the soul
A balm to make the broken whole.
Thou art the light that pierces the dark,
Strength to my weakness, a hopeful spark.

If I were to delve into my mind's deepest parts,
Would it reveal the secrets of my aching heart?
Other than your love's sweet embrace,
I carry nothing else with grace.
My sole fear is that you'll depart,
Leave me alone with my broken heart.
Fate may bring us to the depths of despair,
And you may turn from our vows with a tear.
No day passes without you in my thoughts,
I strive to ease the pain that love has wrought.
Without you, I'm lost and so forlorn.
No one can give me peace, from dusk to dawn.
Yet you doubt my heart—that's so true,
Name me "wicked" when it's not my due.
No one can share my grief and sorrow.
The world blames me, leaving me in the shadows.
All I can do is despair and mourn.
Your whims cannot be overturned or worn.
If you want me to learn,
Even if it means leaving me in pain,
I assure you, I'm genuine and true.

Farewell, my love, my heart now rent in two.
Thou hast caused my soul such endless pain.
Though once thy care did soothe my weary mind,
Now, in thy jealousy, I am confined.
How could I trust thy false and fickle heart,
That did tear my love and joy apart?
Our love was once a sweet and pleasant strain,
Now it brings only grief and bitter bane.
The charade is over, the mask is cast off in shame,
And my heart is left to bear the blame.
No remedy can heal this wounded soul.
Nor repair the heart that thou didst steal and control.
Why must love's light be so soon snuffed out?
And leave me to wander in darkness and doubt?
If my love doth not suit thee, then let it go.
And spare my heart from further woe.
I cry out for a miracle to be released,
From the love that hath brought me such unrest and grief
If thou cannot love me as I am,
Then leave me be and let me find my own true lamb.
Farewell, my love, a broken dream,
Shattered as a ship upon the reef.
Thou art gone, but the pain remains,
As I am left to mourn our love's remains.

Longing for love, my heart doth cry,
With scorching heat that feels like death nigh,
Memories of the past, bitter and cold,
Crush my heart, never to unfold.
But still, I hope for love to find,
To heal the wounds that lay behind,
To feel once more love's warm embrace,
And kiss with love's fierce tenderness and grace.
Perhaps love's path is not yet clear.
Or love itself is something to fear,
But my heart cries out, longing for thee,
Hoping that love will set me free.
For though my heart may be poor and unfulfilled,
My mind remind skilled, my soul unchilled,
For though life's relentless wheel forever turns,
Hope lives within, a fire that forever burns.
With God as my tutor, to guide and to teach,
My heart remains open, ready to receive.
So let the bitter winds of fate blow wild,
Let the tempests rage, let the storm clouds pile,
I'll stand steadfast with faith as my shield.
And let love in, so that my heart might be healed.

Upon this earth, tears of pain I've shed,
For every sorrow, a memory is kept in my head.
The sun beyond my reach did rise,
And the moon passed, with no answer to my cries.
Our Creator denied me a mate,
Left me to languish in a lonely fate.
But then, a whirlpool deep I entered in,
And a hand took mine, saying, "Do not give in."
That's when I met the real you,
A true friend is kind, good, and true.
You showed me the light through the darkest night,
And with your help, I found a new sight.
You are the companion on whom I depend.
My dearest friend, until the end.
Together, we'll leave the past behind.
And reach for the stars, which, with faith, we'll find.
We'll dream and face the waves on the shore.
Explore the depths and the ocean floor.
Together, we'll challenge fate's decree,
And show the world our unity.
Our friendship, forever it will last,
Through all of life's struggles, hold fast.
Let's leave behind tears and pain.
Embrace tomorrow, the sky's domain.
Thanks to God above, we give our praise,

In shining glory, a maiden of great beauty,
With wit and charm, she is the envy of all to see.
Men enamoured, left in awe and wonder,
Spellbound, as if her gaze tore them asunder.
Her shadow, a doll with mocha skin,
Grinning, capturing hearts deep within.
For her smile alone brings joy, a blessed sin,
Never to desire any other kin.
As the morning sun's smile shines so bright,
Guided by the Lord, with the tasbih held tight.
What else could the maiden desire and seek?
Blessed with art and grace, humble and meek.
All gifts bestowed upon her cheek,
The only thing left is a prince to seek.
With all the blessings laid before her,
A future bright, with love to adore her.

Lost in the forest, a lonely soul did stray,
Amidst the verdant green, my heart did play.
The birds, the leaves, and the stream were all my delight.
The darkness came and robbed me of my sight.
Mourning my loss, I stood in pensive thought.
My heart, once happy, was now distraught.
The roses and leaves, which I could no longer see,
The melody of the birds, no more did I feel free.
The moon shone brightly, but brought me no cheer.
The stars glittered but failed to dispel my fear.
The wind was cold and made me feel blue.
Tears and sadness left my soul anew.
I wait for tomorrow, unsure of what it brings.
My heart, still in mourning, saw its tears flowing like springs.
It's hard to be alone; my pain is too much to bear.
My heart, once happy, is now lost in despair.
I'll wait for the dawn with hope in my heart.
Praying for a new day, a brand new start.
To once again bask in nature's delight

Oftentimes, fate deals a cruel hand,
And separates lovers from their promised land.

Though parted by time and distance so vast,
The promise of reunion is steadfast.
For love is not fleeting but ever-enduring,
In the heart of the steadfast and unwavering.
Your departure pains me more than words can say,
Yet I understand that sometimes love must find its own way.
So though we may be separated by miles and years,
My love for you will withstand all fears.
Even if fate takes us down divergent paths,

O, sweetest love, joy of my heart,
Your presence lifts me and sets me apart.
You've walked a path beset by pain
Cutting down roots that brought sadness and disdain.
The weight of past days upon us press,
Tears fall like a river, causing distress.
Yet, in your voice, I find solace and peace.
A promise to never let our love cease.
Together, we'll strive to end fate's cruel play,
In your embrace, my happiness will stay.
Each day, my thoughts turn to you
Our love is forever true, in God's sight anew.
If fate brings despair to you, I'll be near.
Only in your arms will I find comfort and cheer.
I confess, I've forgotten to speak from my heart.
My vow of love is that we shall never part.
But you've inspired a love that shall ever last,
A promise deep in my heart, steadfast and fast

To the venomous snake's destructive way.

With a heavy heart, I bid you adieu.
Though it may hurt us both, it's what we must do.
Mistakes were made, by both you and I,
And so we must part ways and bid each other goodbye.
Farewell to the things we used to do,
Farewell to the old you, and the old me too.
Farewell to the memories that bring only pain,
For we must start anew and leave them all in vain.
It is hard, I know, to leave it all behind.
But we must move on and seek what we may find.
We cannot say how long it may take,
To heal our hearts and make a new break.
But at least we start at zero once again.
Where we can wipe the slate clean and start to mend.
Zero, where there are no old dreams to fulfil,
And no painful memories to make us ill.
Zero, where our love can start anew,
And our hearts can turn pain into joy, it's true.
Let us thank each other for the love we shared.
Through the tears, the laughter, and all the memories, we paired.
Though our journey ends here, our love will remain.
Even in death, it will forever sustain.
For in zero, our love is pure and strong,
And there we shall meet again, where we belong.
So let us take this as a new beginning.
And cherish each moment and make it fulfilling.
For going back to zero is rare, that's true.
But for you, my love, I'll gladly start anew.
